Another tourbillon has arrived to mark the tenth anniversary of the Hublot Spirit of Big Bang collection.

The company has introduced their new Spirit of Big Bang Tourbillon 5-Day Power Reserve White Ceramic as a limited edition of just eight pieces, available exclusively in Greater China.

The novelty with a tourbillon and a 115-hour power reserve comes a few years after the Spirit of Big Bang chronograph made its debut in a barrel-shaped white ceramic case. Hublot has once again demonstrated its mastery when it comes to working with varied materials, white ceramic here, with contrasting microblasted and polished surfaces on the same case.

The Spirit of Big Bang Tourbillon 5-Day Power Reserve White Ceramic is equipped with the Hublot HUB6020 movement that debuted in 2019. It was developed especially for the barrel-shaped case, and has implemented some impressive off-center architecture.

The hour and minute scale shifted to 3 o'clock, sidelined by a tourbillon in the traditional spot at 6 o'clock, while the power reserve indication can be found at 8 o'clock, which is exceptional, albeit not record-breaking against the backdrop of Hublot's other achievements in this field.

The three ray-like bridges that emanate out from the center of the tourbillon on the dial side are echoed by bridges that also converge on the transparent caseback. The skeletonized movement comprises 183 components in total and runs at a frequency of 21,600 vph.

The black-coated bridges, markers, and scale for the power reserve match the six signature H-shaped titanium screws on the bezel and protective blocks on the side of the case.

The imposing crown for manually winding the Hublot HUB6020 is notched for a comfortable grip. The case measures 42 mm in diameter and 12.7 mm in height.

The standard version of the Spirit of Big Bang Tourbillon 5-Day Power Reserve White Ceramic is paired with a white rubber strap, which can easily be changed thanks to Hublot's "One-Click" fastening system.
