I am pleased with my Zenith watch, which I usually use, and I vividly recommend them to
anyone who cares about accuracy, wrote aviation pioneer Louis Bleriot three years after the flight that brought him worldwide fame.

On 25 July 1909, Bleriot made history flying over the Channel in a wooden airplane Bleriot XI, built by himself. The flight took 37 minutes, and Louis kept track of the time by the Zenith watch on his wrist.

Unlike many other brands, Zenith can use its watch instruments from the time of aviation pioneers as sources of inspiration. This year, the company again shows respect to the historic Type 20 watches in the Pilot Type 20 Rescue and Pilot Type 20 Chronograph Rescue models. Both new products presented in 45-mm stainless steel cases with dark gray dials and characteristic large Arabic numerals from SuperLuminova. Both models come mounted on aged, black calfskin leather straps with rivets and a stylish tab inspired by those seen on historical pilots' helmets.

The chronograph is equipped with the automatic El Primero 4069, with a high-octane balance frequency of 36,000 vph (5 Hz), and a 50-hour power reserve. The watches contain Zenith's automatic Elite 679 caliber with automatic movement and a 50-hour power reserve.
