15 years ago, the Saxon manufactory A. Lange & Söhne, founded in 1845 and resurrected in 1990, launched a watch for travelers.
The Lange 1 watch model allowed to see the time in two time zones using two different size dials.
In 2020, the engineers of the famous German brand equipped the Lange 1 Time Zone watches with a new manufacture calibre L141.1. with one barrel and 72-hour power reserve.
Watches got brand-new features. For example, there is a gold arrow at "5 o'clock" indicating the city for the second zone turns red if daylight saving time is applied in the selected area.
Another new feature: blue printed night-time indicators that rotate once about their axes in 24 hours in the form of blue arcs on both dials.
Another interesting feature is the ability to easily switch between dials with the transfer of the second time zone readings from the smaller time circle to the larger. This feature is suitable for those travelers who prefer that the time of the city in which they are on a business trip or vacation becomes the main one. The main time zone is configured separately, along with the date associated with it. Special attention is traditionally paid to the refined finish of the movement, which can be seen thanks to the transparent back cover.
Lange 1 Time Zone is available in three versions: the case diameter is 41.9 mm, height 10.9 mm, it is made in white, pink or yellow gold. The limited edition of the yellow gold case will be a real treasure for collectors: its release is limited to 100 copies.
