Today, watch brands often turn to historical heritage, but some decades remain in the shadows.

Audemars Piguet fills in the blanks and presents a new interpretation of the 1943 model - prototype No. 1533 with a steel and pink gold case and a champagne-colored dial. The company was involved in the release of this model from the 1930s to the 1950s. Only 307 copies came out of its workshops during all that time.

The 2020 creation is [Re]master01, emphasizing that this is not just a reissue, but a rethinking of the historical original.

A hand-polished case with its size increased to 40 mm, combines steel with parts made of gold of the 750th grade. Another significant change - the counters on the satin golden dial with black marks in the decal technique have changed their location. However, the brand’s designers retained the “4/5” mark on a 30-minute counter at 9 o’clock for convenient measurement of 45-minute periods: this was a particular requirement of Jacques-Louis Audemard, a representative of the third generation of the founders of the watch manufactory and a great football fan. An additional historical curtsy is the Audemars Piguet & Co Genève vintage logo, which indicates a workshop in Geneva.

The automatic mechanism of the latest generation - caliber 4409, guaranteers the performance of the watch for at least 70 hours, became the "heart" of the resurrected model. The sapphire crystal case back allows you to see a unique rotor made, like the bezel, in pink gold and decorated with a Clous de Paris pattern.
