Breitling became a partner of Bentley Motors in 2002 when the automaker ordered an onboard watch for a new limousine from the brand.
After nearly 20 years, Breitling launches the new Premier Bentley Mulliner Limited Edition chronograph and sets a limit for the series of 1000 units. A severe limitation if you do not know that the car to which it is dedicated - the Bentley Continental GT Mulliner Convertible - has a limit of 100 units. Breitling borrowed several design features from the car.
The model took a silver dial, and the shape of Arabic numerals from the dashboard watch Premier Bentley Mulliner (also developed by Breitling). The red color of the second hand and the internal 60-minute scale imitates the hue of interior stitching. The blue alligator leather strap is matched with the Imperial Blue tone used in the finish of the convertible.
The name of the car brand appeared on a plate on the side of the steel case Breitling Premier Bentley Mulliner, with a 42 mm diameter. The plate is decorated with a pattern that should serve as a reminder of the dashboard of historic Bentley cars.
The new watch’s engine was the manufactory Caliber 01 mechanism with a 70-hour power reserve.
