On February 22, famous Russian ice hockey player Alexander Ovechkin and the captain of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL) for 10 years, brought another goal to his club in the 5th minute of the third period of a guest match against New Jersey and scored the 700th goal of his career.

The first-ever Russian player to captain his team to the most coveted NHL prize* became the eighth player in the League's history to achieve such an impressive result. In terms of the number of games required for 700 goals, Ovechkin was second only to Wayne Gretzky: 1,144 games against 886.

Hublot watch brand, whose ambassador is Alexander, took part in the celebration of this outstanding result. At a ceremony at Capital One Arena, Ovechkin received the Hublot Big Bang UNICO Titanium watch made in a single copy.

This model presented in a 45 mm titanium case in red, white, and blue colors — the colors of the Russian flag and the Washington Capitals team. The number "12" on the dial in a particular version of the model, Hublot designers, replaced with "700," and the six was replaced by the famous ice hockey player's logo. The back cover is decorated with Alexander's autograph and a memorable date.
