The 10th anniversary of the collection brings a bold design overhaul.

The name of the collection refers to pocket watches produced by Bovet in the 1930s. Specifically, it draws inspiration from a timepiece from the 1930s in Mr. Pascal Raffy’s private collection, the “easel” chronometer, which was one of the last pocket watches to be manufactured by the brand before wristwatches became widespread.

The new editions continue to feature the signature crown positioned at 12 o’clock. The instantly recognizable Fleurier case is more than just iconic — it stands alone in the watch industry, paying homage to the design of some of the earliest pocket watches.

And yet, the 19Thirty 10th Anniversary Special Edition offers a fresh perspective on one of the brand’s most emblematic collections. Headquartered in the 14th-century Château de Môtiers, Bovet has reimagined the 19Thirty with a more contemporary and dynamic spirit.

The 19Thirty is not only Bovet’s youngest collection, but also its most accessible. This visual refresh is clearly aimed at welcoming a new generation of collectors to the Maison. There are no complications here — and now, no traditional dial-side decorations either.

Previous models were defined by hand-guilloché subdials arranged in a figure-eight layout and exposed movement components adorned with Fleurisanne engraving.

The anniversary edition introduces three lacquered dial variations: classic blue, olive green (In The Dusk), and a shimmering black referred to as Queen of Trees. Beneath the surface beats the hand-wound Calibre 15BM04, offering an impressive seven-day power reserve.

For enthusiasts who appreciate the ornate decoration Bovet is known for, a glance at the movement through the sapphire caseback will not disappoint. Around 95% of the components are manufactured in-house at Bovet Tramelan, with final assembly and regulation performed at the Château de Môtiers.

All Fleurier-style cases in the 19Thirty 10th Anniversary Special Edition are crafted in stainless steel, measuring 42 mm in diameter and just 9.05 mm thick. Each watch is delivered with two strap options: a classic alligator leather strap and a more practical rubber alternative.
