A watch that debuted at SIHH 2019, returned tis year again: Hermès Arceau L’Heure De La Lune.

These watches are equipped with a special "Arceau L’Heure de la Lune" module, developed by Chronode founder Jean-François Mojon. It uses two mobile counters to display the time and date, which also form part of the moon-phase display.

The watch has two moons as well, one for each hemisphere, marked with exquisite inscriptions "Nord" for the Northern Hemisphere and "Sud" for the Southern Hemisphere.

The disks travel around in a circle, obscuring the moon to indicate the current phase, one of which is decorated with a Pegasus motif by Dimitri Rybalchenko. He is the son of artist Vladimir Rybalchenko and the grand-nephew of Philippe Ledoux — all three of them have created designs for Hermès scarves.

Dimitri Rybalchenko is now a living legend of the Maison and the author of many prominent narratives, some of which have migrated from scarves to dials: we can recall the Slim d'Hermès Minuit au Faubourg, Slim d'Hermès Flagship, and the new Slim d'Hermès Cheval Brossé.

He's also worked on the dials for the new 2025 Arceau L’Heure De La Lune trio. The watches have been launched as a limited edition of twelve sets only available as a trio, which only serves to make them even more exclusive.

The novelties are still equipped with the automatic Hermès H1837 movement made by Manufacture Vaucher. It comprises 193 components, 117 of which are for the lunar module. The watch provides a 40-hour power reserve and runs at a frequency of 28,800 vph.

The main highlight here is the dial composition coupled with new case materials. All of the watches have meteorite dials (the 2019 Arceau L’Heure De La Lune also had a version with a meteorite dial): lunar meteorite for the Blue Grey Moon version, Vesta for the Vesta, and Erg Chech for the Erg.

The white moon is made of mother-of-pearl on all three versions. The case for the Arceau L'Heure de la Lune Blue Grey Moon is in white gold with a blue DLC-coated titanium bezel.

The Arceau L'Heure de la Lune Vesta has a rose-gold case and a dark gray DLC-coated titanium bezel. The Arceau L'Heure de la Lune Erg Chech comes in white gold with a rose gold bezel. Each case measures 43 mm in diameter.
