Watchmakers love and value the Beckham family — they're the perfect ambassadors, symbolizing style, sports, and family values. Tudor has also decided to capitalize on the appeal of having a Beckham as an ambassador this spring.
The company has unveiled a pink-dial model called Black Bay Chrono "Pink" — the color of Inter Miami FC kit, where David Beckham is a co-owner. This is the first watch to herald Tudor's new role as the club's Official Timekeeper. But the trio of Tudor, Beckham, and Inter Miami go way back.
The watchmaker created a special version of the Pelagos with the club's crest for their ambassador. But the latest novelty makes their connection official. Tudor welcomed the football star into the ranks of their ambassadors in 2017.

The brand lured Beckham away from Breitling, who he'd worked with since 2012. Interesting fact: when Backham's "transfer" to a new watchmaking team was announced in Basel, we learned that the watchmakers had teamed up to make movements.
Breitling's Caliber B01 was a win for everyone, which Tudor used as a base. The brands still have a lot in common in 2024. Victoria Beckham is co-designing the Chronomat Automatic 36 collection for Breitling while her husband is introducing Tudor's football-themed watch with a pink dial.
But let's return to the Black Bay Chrono "Pink". The first watch was created as a custom piece for another of the brand's ambassadors: Taiwanese musician Jay Chou.

Only later did it become associated with the other ideal ambassador and matching color of Inter Miami's football kit. The watch simultaneously became more affordable. The Black Bay Chrono "Pink" watch is equipped with a MT5813 movement (hello again Breitling) with a 70-hour power reserve.
It's housed in a steel case that measures 41 mm × 14.4 mm, which is worn on a five-link bracelet (and this is a direct nod to the Rolex Jubilee bracelet). The pink dial is framed by a bezel that has a black anodized aluminum insert with a contrasting white tachymeter scale.
