Now in pink!
If you look at the F1 Watch Constructors' Champions, TAG Heuer and Red Bull are leading in 2024, while Richard Mille occupies both second and third place, having secured two partnerships with high-performance teams Ferrari and McLaren.
The top five is rounded out by IWC with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team and Girard-Perregaux with Aston Martin. But now H. Moser & Cie. has come onto the established scene of partnerships, claiming a watchmaking victory over the BWT Alpine F1 Team's paddock.
The team finished the last sprint in ninth place, the closest they've been to points this season, and the novelties by H. Moser & Cie. seem to be attracting more attention for Alpine than the actual achievements of drivers on the race track.
Two liveries were unveiled by Alpine for this season, and both of them are reflected in creations by H. Moser & Cie. They are the Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition in bright blue and the Streamliner Alpine Limited Edition Pink Livery in bright pink.
The latter novelty took on this eye-catching signature tone ahead of the Miami Grand Prix. The limited edition of 20 pieces are equipped with a small domed dial made of synthetic corundum.
This hard and complex-to-finish material in the signature BWT color is highlighted without any logos — purists will appreciate the pink dome without any unnecessary elements. Indications are made easy to read thanks to the Super-LumiNova coating on hour markers and Globolight used to fill the inserts on hands.
The ergonomic Streamliner shape inspired by locomotives from the 1920s and 1930s should now remind you of the aerodynamic silhouette of F1 race cars. A successful role in this is played by the integrated pink rubber strap that mimics the texture of textiles.
The engine of this model is completely transparent: the skeletonized automatic HMC 811 caliber is equipped with a flying tourbillon, a blue cage bridge (in a tone that matches the hands), and an openworked gold rotor.
The balance is accompanied by a cylindrical hairspring made for H. Moser & Cie. by sister company Precision Engineering AG. The case measuring 42.3 mm is made of steel.
