List your options

In your profile and listing, choose how you would prefer to receive money.

Avoid recallable and cancellable money transfer services.

Dispatch items only when money has arrived in your account, and payment cannot be canceled.

Don't accept files and screenshots in email as payment confirmations.

Safe payments

For a safe experience of buyers and sellers, we strongly suggest offering only the following payment methods – PayPal, online payment with a credit card, bank-to-bank transfers (also known as bank wire transfers), payment upon pickup. Sending cash through the mail and point-to-point cash transfer services (e.g., Western Union or MoneyGram) are not allowed.

Receiving money via PayPal

Remember – you should be the first who sends a payment request to the buyer. It should be done from your PayPal account, and the buyer will receive a payment link in the email to proceed with the payment. That is the only way to receive money in your PayPal account.

When receiving payment via PayPal, ensure that the non-revocable amount appears in your account. Only trust what you see in your PayPal account, not emails that look like sent by PayPal or screenshots from a buyer.

Verify online payments

The same applies to money transfers directly to your bank account – make sure that payment cannot be canceled and trust what you see in your account before dispatching the item.

Only disclose personal data via secure pages, recognizable by the "HTTPS: //" at the URL's beginning.

Cash

Avoid traveling with large amounts of cash. After a successful trade, go to the local bank office and upload it to your bank account.
