Before taking pictures, you should wipe the surface of the watch with a soft flannel and set the hands to the classic 10 hours and 10 minutes. In this position, they do not obstruct the decorative elements and other scales on the dial. Besides, the symmetrical arrangement of the arrows looks pleasant and aesthetically pleasing.

The more high-quality photos of the watch you take, the faster you can sell it. A single blurry image is a great excuse to flip through your ad.

In the first photo, the watch should be fully included in the frame and placed in an upright position.

Don't do

The following is not allowed on the photos and preview videos:

  • contact information (including on the background or the logo)
  • images of people (If a person is depicted in a photo or video, you must be able to confirm that he has agreed to use his/her image on Qlekta)
  • words or elements that attract attention (for example, colored frames, words "urgent", "attention", etc.)
  • information about the price reduction (for example, the new price next to the crossed-out old price, etc.)

There is no need to create compositions with attributes and accessories, scarves, pedestals, cubes - they just distract attention from the watch.

You also should not attach pictures from official websites of the brands or images taken from other online resources. Remember, every such photo has its author and owner. You sell watches on the secondary market where the customers need to see the real condition of the watches, not the one that was photo-edited.

Moreover, you should not hide any defects. Hidden defects may result in the customer canceling the deal. It is better to tell about all of the defects, attach a photo, and lower the price so that a customer could be found quicker. Also, do not attach any cloudy photos with cut off edges.
